Jay Bharat - A legacy brand

We had the incredible privilege of rebranding Jay Bharat, a legacy Indian food brand rooted in California since 1985 -  known for bringing authentic Gujarati snacks and sweets to the Indian community in the US. What started as a humble snack store has now grown into a full-fledged restaurant, catering service, and packaged food brand, all under one powerful, unified identity.



Our task was both exciting and deeply emotional to preserve the nostalgia and warmth that generations have associated with Jay Bharat, while giving it a fresh, design-forward look that connects with today’s global audience.


From crafting a new brand identity to designing packaging for their entire snack range, restaurant branding, store signage, and catering collateral, this was a complete design overhaul that touched every customer experience point.


The brand story draws from the colours, textures, and spirit of India’s heartland familiar, comforting, and full of joy. We infused the nostalgia of home into every element: earthy yet modern colour palettes, Indian motifs reimagined through a contemporary lens, and a tone of voice that feels welcoming and proud.


The result? A brand that feels like a homecoming- one that carries the same old warmth and quality Jay Bharat has always stood for, now wrapped in a design system that’s fresh, cohesive, and ready to shine on shelves, screens, and dining tables alike.


This project wasn’t just a rebrand, it was a celebration of culture, legacy, and design coming together to tell a story that’s been simmering for decades.


Same soul. New look. A taste of home, reborn.
